My funky self
I was recently doing studio head shots and my husband came in for his head shot. It was fun photographing him. He's easy on the eyes and he pays me in kisses. When I was done, I handed him my camera and asked him to grab a few photos of me. Very little make-up, nothing professional in any way. Hair was my usual crazy curly style. Just me. Just the way I always am. Why the hell not? Sometimes you just gotta keep it real. So here I am. My funky self. ~Michelle #MichelleFairless

Ahhhhh.....to be 17 again! I'd go back in a second!
But since we can't go back in time, how cool is it that I get to be there with you to capture that time in your life when you're about to graduate High School? Very cool! It's hard to believe class of 2018 is about to start. My own daughter will be one of those graduating next year. That's so crazy!!! "I have friends that are Photographers, why should I choose you?"
I was actually asked this question this week from a potential client. I didn't hesitate to answer her. I was actually excited that she asked me that. Everyone knows a photographer! Why would you choose me when your friend could do it? Why would you choose me when your friend is less expensive or perhaps even free? I'll tell you why. First, I'm more professional than 90% of most photographers out there, period. I really believe that. I know a lot of photgraphers myself. I have
First Blog on my website, no pressure.
Hello gorgeous, ya, you. Ok, now that I've got your attention I better have something great to say. This is my very first BLOG on my website. Kinda cool. I've actually been blogging for several years. I even did the blogs for a photography studio that I worked in. It's a super fun way to kind of get to know your audience and for them to get to know you. I get asked so much what it is that I photograph? For some reason, one of the first questions that people ask me are "are yo
